Spesso si pensa che i gatti non siano animali socievoli ma solitari e indipendenti. Questo è vero fino a un certo punto. Il gatto è sicuramente un animale indipendente e capace di godersi anche la sua solitudine (e libertà) ma non è vero che non sia un animale sociale Anzi, ai gatti piace socializzare. Ovviamente, con le loro modalità (che sono diverse, per esempio, da quelle del cane).
Spesso capita di dover lasciare micio a casa da solo per molto tempo, a volte per tutto il giorno.
